To quote The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, “I was born in the USA”! I grew up in a rural community in the Buckle of the Bible Belt living life on a farm with all that entails.  Most people would say I had a humble upbringing without all the luxuries some enjoy; I would say I grew up in a great environment and learned early on what it meant to work hard and appreciate what I had. Life outdoors was all my family and I knew growing up through diverse hardships including extremely cold and snowy winters to blistering and humid summers.

One aspect of my early life I’m exceptionally grateful for is the sense of community we all shared. Gathering together for food and fellowship was a weekly occurrence regardless of personal beliefs.  It was expected we all attend church at least once a week, if not three times a week and while there it was expected we all participate and engage with each other. 

I would consider myself, and the tests all back this up, an introvert.  Being an introvert in a community like the one I grew up in does not go hand-in-hand. From a very early age I was asked to get up in front of people to talk and share stories and perform various roles in the public eye.  It was here I found my passion for public speaking and being in front of people—despite needing solo time to recharge. People quickly recognised my talent for speaking and engaging with audiences of all different walks of life and the charisma I exuded. Rather than run from this, I worked on honing my skills.  

My tertiary education focused on communication, higher-level education, and facilitation. Now I have over 25 years of experience in the field and work on bringing a prepared, polished, engaged, and fun atmosphere in every aspect of what I do.

At the age of 12 I also pursued music heavily and began practicing drums up to eight hours per day for several months straight.  After years of gigging and recording music as a drummer and vocalist, I expanded my repertoire to include guitar and performing in various cities and multiple venues around the world.

After moving to Australia I have continued to focus on these two passions of mine and have been fortunate enough to meet Mim and combine forces to offer absolutely stellar wedding packages and help people’s dreams become realities.

Born in Austria, the homeland of remarkable classical composers such as Mozart, Schubert and Strauss, and the land where "the hills are alive with the sound of music", I was the fourth of six children. However Salzburg was not to be my home for long.  At 1 year of age my family emigrated to the land down-under to begin a new life. 
 
Life as a musician began for me at age 8 when my birthday wish for piano and vocal lessons was granted. My talent was soon recognised, and my love for playing music grew by the day. I expanded my skills to include guitar, clarinet and saxophone, seeking aid from a number of teachers in the country I was residing at with my travel-loving family, as well as picking up skills of my own accord.
 
When it came time to choosing a career direction, it was clear to those around me that for me to be able to live my dreams and lead a fulfilled life, a big part of my future had to involve music. Having returned to Austria in my teens, I auditioned at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and got accepted to begin a career in "School Music" (Bachelor of Music Education). I completed my final year and graduated from the "Hochschule fur Kunst" in Zurich, Switzerland. The weekly lessons in music pedagogy, piano, guitar, classical and contemporary vocals, ear training and jazz proved to be an ideal foundation for the musical career I pursued. 
 
After several years of teaching music in class/school settings, and to private students on 3 continents, I realised this was not all I dreamed to use my musical talents for.  After struggling with some hardships in life, the quote "Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life" became so real to me that it became my driving force. In 2011, now a single mum to 3 gorgeous girls, using music as a therapy for my emotional well-being, I began working on my songlist of cover songs, striving for artistic excellence and quality, to prepare for the next step in my musical career: gigging.
 
With an ever-growing songlist of over 80 songs, I have since been enjoying doing what I love doing most, whilst having an audience to share it with, mainly at weddings, but also at engagement parties, corporate events, balls, at public venues, special occasions, over dinner or drinks. I have the beautiful support of my now teenage daughters who are my biggest fans and cheer me on every step of the way. Together we juggle the full weekends of weddings, events, horse-riding competitions, gymnastics competitions, family time and a whole lot of chillin' whenever we can fit it in! I am blessed with loved ones and being able to pursue my dreams and passions whole-heartedly!
